| Project Two Mehmet Adil Adelaide based artist Mehmet Adil's work was recently included in the 1998 Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art at the Art Gallery of South Australia. Adil's work presents an idiosynchratic and focussed take on the relationships between objects and materials in the world around us. Adil suggests that the EAF exhibition will "have neither a specific theme per se nor will it be a product of engagement in legitimising its own process," and that his intention is "firstly to examine my own motives within the context for being engaged in the process of making, secondly to challenge and widen my own perceived notions of private and public in the realms of social interactions in the context of visual arts discipline." |
